Featuring illustrations by award-winning manga artist Yuko Uramoto, this book also makes a great read for manga and graphic novel lovers of all ages.

Got my daughter to read & understand it I read the original book a few years ago and tidied up a lot, loved it. (I did not finish, but I’m getting there, I got stopped with injuries.) But I also have been trying to teach my 8 year old daughter about the core concepts. She loves graphic novels, so I picked this up in the hopes she would read it, and she did! After reading it I asked if she liked it and she said “I did! But I’m still not going to do it.” ;-)Then a month or so later she picked it up and read it again! And while cleaning her room with her grandmother yesterday said “you sort by categories, not location!” I said, “oh so you remember that from the book?” And got a face from her (doesn’t want mommy to be right) but I’ll take it. So while it may take her a bit to fully embrace, it was an approachable way for her to learn about tidying and she’s learning to let go of things she doesn’t need at a much earlier age than I did!More Visual Than I Thought, Even Went Hard Copy! So I'd read through Marie Kondo's initial book a while back, and it was good information, but I guess I just didn't have a frame of reference for it. A couple years later I was frustrated with my apartment and my closet again, and noticed that there was a manga version of the book. It had good reviews and didn't seem very long, and I'd just read The Curated Closet and Goodbye Things, so I was in a better headspace to absorb the information this time.Long story short, THIS PRESENTATION WAS FANTASTIC!I even picked up a hard copy of this for my physical shelf and I think it will get to live there for quite a while. Also, I think when a character was used to go through the process (Chiaki) even though I don't have the same issues, it helped to see that it's not just a clinical process that hits everyone the same way, but it's a personal (I can't believe I'm going to use this phrase...sorry universe!) journey from where you are to where you want to go, and at some point if you're doing it right, it's going to feel weird.Fast enjoyable read for an overview of the process Love it. So adorable. Fast read. Shows the concept and teaches the process in an easy to understand way. I like that the character Chiaki goes through a lot of the same reasons that we all do when you've never lived in a "non-messy" environment. I always thought it was just who i am and there were ppl who are neat and ocd and ppl who r not and then hoarders. But its all a choice and it helped me recalibrate my thoughts on why i never got rid of things. I thought if i had a memory i was suppose to keep it or if it wasnt broken i had to keep using it. Or certain clothes didnt have holes so better keep it even though its 10 yrs old and from high school and i dont fit it. The life changing magic of tyding up changed my life 2 yrs ago when i bought it. I didnt get to finish the process last time, but i have restarted it this week and this book helped resurge my spark.I did the clothes purge and got rid of a basket and a half to donate and threw away another basket worth. In the initial purge there were 2 baskets worth of my boyfriends clothes mixed in so i had to seperate that out as i went. All the white tanks are for work under my uniform. I have the hung stuff rising to the right but kept my workout tops in one section at the end together. I'll still have to reorganize them, but they feel better i think. Love that the drawers look pretty and i can see everything. Cant wait to do more and finally decorate aftr living in our new place for a year now. I want it to feel like a home not an apartment. We dont plan on moving for a long time so i dont feel like if i hang stuff on the walls im just gona take it down latr anyways so whats the point. I want to enjoy our space before we get a house, if we ever decide to, that is.

Strong, Beautiful, and Elegant What a beautiful planner. The paper is of good quality and just the right thickness. The planner is made to last and the colorful illustrations are truly breathtaking - elegant to be more precise. This planner is the perfect reason to take all of my other planners and toss them out the window. What have I been waiting for? Why did it take me so long to find this planner? Ladies - you can not pass this planner up.Beautiful and positive Beautiful and positive. Nice quality with a large spiral side to make page turning easy. It lays flat easily as well. Was much smaller than I was expecting but I love it. Has pink page marker. Would be able to toss in purse or computer bad to keep on you. Or good for desk/office. All around fabulous planner with weeks and months. Recommend.Absolutely Gorgeous BUT Has a Big Flaw I was so excited to receive this planner. It looks gorgeous online and is even more gorgeous in person. BUT something I noticed right away is that some of the weeks in the weekly spread are broken up into two separate spreads. This calendar is very literal with its weekly spreads by only showing the days for that month on the weekly spread. So if the month ends on a Tuesday then you will have Monday and Tuesday on one spread and Wednesday-Sunday on another spread.I don’t know about you, but my weekly planning is done by looking at all 7 days at once in my planner. So to have the weeks broken up like that I anticipate will get confusing.I’m on the fence whether I’ll keep it. The calendar is more lightweight than I thought (a good thing!), the size is great for my purse, and the illustrations are pretty. But a planner should be more than just beautiful; it should make planning easier, and I’m not sure if it does that with this type of weekly layout.

The Twisted Ones (Five Nights at Freddy's Free Pdf

ISBN: 1338139304
Title: The Twisted Ones (Five Nights at Freddy's Pdf #2)
Author: Scott Cawthon
Published Date: 2017-06-25
Page: 304
The highly anticipated sequel to the bestselling Five Nights at Freddy's: The Silver Eyes. It's been a year since the horrific events at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, and Charlie is just trying to move on. Even with the excitement of a new school and a fresh start, she's still haunted by nightmares of a masked murderer and four gruesome animatronic puppets. Charlie thinks her ordeal is over, but when a series of bodies are discovered near her school bearing wounds that are disturbingly familiar she finds herself drawn back into the world of her father's frightening creations. Something twisted is hunting Charlie, and this time if it finds her, it's not letting her go.

From a solid, slow build right to crazy town Wow, so I have a lot of mixed feelings on this one. One thing is for certain, I preferred the first book. If you have the patience for the length, the first one had much better pacing, and a slow build to the supernatural, feeling much more grounded. THIS ONE hurries along so it can get to it's over-long third act that is one of the most crazy, off the rails third acts I ever read in a book. The games may have jumped the shark a while ago but as a successor to Silver Eyes this was quite the leap. That being said I was certainly entertained. I was invested in the characters, Charlie's story in particular what quite interesting and honestly tragic. She doesn't take her mental health issues with pain and grief but confronts her perceived problems head on, for better or for worse. The new twisted animatronics were entertaining, and some of the horrific imagery unsettled me more than anything in the games. The finale is so utterly bonkers it's impossible not to be entertained, and long time fans will delight in certain details I won't spoil here. The problem remains that this is a giant leap from Silver Eyes in terms of logic and craziness. It feels like what should have been the events of the final book in the series, not the middle peace and it leaves me wondering what on earth could be planned for the third one.So yeah, problematic but still very entertaining. Charlie's character is the highlight. I do recommend it overall.Book 3 Better Be Better. This Was a Rush Job That Was NOT Ready ***THIS REVIEW CONTAINERS SPOILERS***The Twisted Ones was a bit faster-paced than the first book. It's also a bit shorter, which probably explains the pace. Book two picks up roughly a year after The Silver Eyes ends. The horror in this one is more frequent and far more occurring than the first book as well. Centering around the Freddy Fazbear's Sister Location, which is somewhere between Charlie's college and Hurricane. And this time, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and even Foxy are part of the good guys, which is confusing all in itself in many ways, because the only animatronic that was good in The Silver Eyes was Golden Freddy, who made zero appearances in this book. Either way, there was plenty of gore and jump-scare moments throughout the book. This more horror, less snore-fest is really the only thing that saved this from being a 1-Star review. Thank you for listening to the fans, but it is what it is. I hope my review will be taken for what it is, as those who know me I RARELY ever give a bad review. There were a few, minor errors that I spotted, nothing that would really deter the reader, but I felt they should be mentioned since he authors do have the money and can afford better editing than they've gotten this time. This book left many many things unanswered. Springtrap's answer to Charlie didn't sit well with me, and I'm sure it didn't sit well with others either. Chapter 13 is a rushed mess of nonsense that left me not only irritated, but very disappointed as well. Everything in that chapter was rushed and very little of it made any kind of sense at all. Where to begin with the holes in this book? Let's start with:1) Springtrap... How the hell is he alive? IS he alive? Is he an intelligent zombie? His presence makes no sense other than the authors needing a villain, and who better than the one that was supposed to have been killed in the first book?2) The animatronic heads in Charlie's dorm room serve NO purpose in the book. Not one. Yet for the amount of times they are mentioned, thought of, seen, etc, you'd think there was a reason, other than they were being built in a similar fashion than the Twisted Ones.3)The door Charlie draws over and over, somehow without realizing she's doing it. She finally gets to the door and then NOTHING! With the house coming down around her, she doesn't have time to pry the mysterious metal door open and see why she's so drawn to it. And NO ONE goes back after the fact to find out. It's just a unanswered piece of the story.4) Where are Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy that Twisted Freddy was somehow able to wiggle his half of body all the way to Charlie? I'm sure they didn't just stop and vanish into thin air while knowing they'd been asked to help save Charlie.5) I can only surmise that Aunt Jen was somehow miraculously with Charlie at the end of Chapter 13 because at some point during the months between Chapters 1 and Chapter 13 she died and not one person thought to tell Charlie. There's no other way Aunt Jen could have gotten into the area without being seen by the others there.6) Chapter 14 is perhaps the most disappointing of them all. It's anticlimactic and doesn't even end with a real cliff-hanger.The release for book 3, which is as of now is untitled, isn't scheduled until June 26. Unless this book fills all, and I mean ALL these loose-ends, I don't see myself bothering to read it any further. I don't want to sit around waiting years to find out in book #20 the answers to book #2.I give this book 3 of 5 stars and pray the authors spend a little more time writing a story without so many holes and a better ending.Don't take it too seriously and you'll have fun. This sequel does not disappoint. This book reads so much like a 1980's B horror movie sequel. There were some scenes that I'm sure were meant to be scary but I just ended up chuckling. While the first book was conservative in its killing and scope, this one just goes over-the-top. It even scales up the scientific and paranormal aspects of the animatronics. The villain himself is so absurd that he wasn't scary at all. Just like what happens in the sequels to B horror movies!I'll give Cawthon and Breed-Wrisley full credit for the occasional cleverness the characters come up with. Unfortunately, while the last book had a great creepiness factor going for it, this book did not. There were no creepy scenes to help balance out the nonsensical attempts at scariness. Seriously, the scene where Charlie and John watch a zombie movie and she keeps thinking about all the things the movie got wrong was a great metaphor for the book. You don't read it for the logic, just the silliness. In all, I'm still glad I bought the book and that I read it in October. The authors left it open for a third book and I'm kinda hoping they follow through. If you don't take it too seriously, you'll have a fun time!

The Best Friend Pdf

Title: The Best Friend Pdf An utterly gripping psychological thriller with a breathtaking twist
‘I can tell we’re going to be the best of friends…’

When Louisa Sullivan takes her little boy to his first playdate at a new friend’s house she doesn’t realise life is about to change for her family. Because she’s about to meet Darcy Lane.

Darcy is a woman who has everything – a dream house, a powerful husband and enviable wealth.

She’s the perfect wife.

The perfect friend.

The perfect liar.

From the top ten bestselling author of The Secret Mother and The Child Next Door, this utterly gripping psychological thriller will have you up all night reading. If you loved Gone Girl, The Girl on the Train and The Wife Between Us this book is for you.

‘OMG what a read. Absolutely fantastic readhad me on the edge of my seat. Can't wait to read more from this author. Highly recommended. 5 stars.’ Goodreads Reviewer, 5 stars

Very Frightening Story, Couldn't Put It Down.... I like Shalini Boland books, in some respects, her descriptions of emotions and reactions make me feel like she herself has been through some of the scenarios she postulates. She describes some of the reactions of a frightened ( but strong) woman better than any other author I've come across. The Best Friend terrified me, it seemed like such a no-win situation, right from the beginning there was an ominous feeling that the relationship between the two women was going to a very dark place. The concurrent story that happens in the distant past that ultimately becomes part of the current story was well done and different than most. I won't give anything away...it's a frightening story that could happen to anyone and with a very satisfying ending.Worth Your Time! I really enjoyed this book...it's reminiscent of Girl on the Train. It definitely held my interest and was an easy, fast read. My only criticism is of the main character/narrator, in that some of her actions didn't seem very realistic. An example (without giving away too much of the plot), she spends pages talking about wanting to get the antagonist out of her life, only to stupidly and unnecessarily go to her husband's apartment. And I think it's safe to say, most women would have unfriended Darcy MUCH sooner than Louisa does. Some of the plot is predictable, and there aren't a whole lot of shocking twists or turns. That being said, much of its appeal is in its simplicity. Great ending! It's sort of like a really good Lifetime movie!Intense I am addicted to books by this author and read them in days because I have to see what is going to happen. The style of writing pulls you in and keeps you on the fast track until the end. Sometimes I guess part or even all of what is going on but it moves so quickly I don't have time to have the theory gel. In this one, the protagonist is a bit naive, but the antagonist is so evil that the story is so good!
